North Maryhill TRA
We are working to make the Maryhill North neighbourhood a better place to live. Our proposals are set out in a masterplan developed in close consultation with the community.
The masterplan focuses on delivering ‘green infrastructure’ improvements. This includes improvements to public open space, safer and more attractive walking and cycling routes, and better management of rainwater. This will support the delivery of new homes and help create a more sustainable and resilient neighbourhood.
Our masterplan received Planning Approval in Principle in 2025, and we have now developed detailed plans for affordable housing on site which can be found here.
We have secured funding to deliver key elements of the project and began work on-site in autumn 2025. The initial works focus on blue and green infrastructure and building an active travel path between Cumlodden Drive and Sandbank street. These improvements help prepare the site to enable the future delivery of affordable housing.
Looking ahead, we are aiming to appoint a private sector development partner to help deliver the proposals for a mixed tenure development, which will include affordable housing, and housing for sale.
